1.HTC U11 VS LG G6: Design
As usual, the first place to start is at the looks. The HTC U11 spots a 5.5 inch display that is pretty comfortable with two hands but it is a bit cumbersome using it with one hand. This phone also features a chassis with some sort of ‘3D liquid surface’ made of a funky glass frame with different colors.
LG has opted for an all-metal design for the G6 with a bigger screen, at 5.7 inches. It might look bigger but is virtually the same size as the HTC U11:
- HTC U11: 154 x 76 x 7.9mm
- LG G6 : 148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9mm
The catch here is that LG has made the bezels surrounding the screen quite narrow. Moreover, both phones are water resistant plus they also come with a fingerprint scanner. As far as the fingerprint scanner is concerned, the U11 has its version in the home button while the LG G6 has the scanner at back, just at the bottom of the camera.
2.HTC U11 VS LG G6: Hardware Specifications
When it comes to hardware, LG has made a peculiar choice-sticking with Snapdragon 821 processor instead of jumping to the Snapdragon 835 processor just like in other phones like in the HTC U11. The decision is no fluke though as LG claims that they prefer having their engineers pushing the mature chip to the limit rather than jumping on the wagon.
In the realm of HTC’s hardware, there is a very interesting feature off the shelves in what is known as Edge Sense which allows users to control the phone from the edges. You can launch your camera, turn on the flashlight and control certain aspects of the menus quickly using this feature. This is quite useful in letting you control your phone with one hand.
For storage options, the G6 comes with 32GB memory while the HTC U11 has a storage memory of 64GB but with memory slots to extend this memory: Here is a table comparing the hardware specs of these two phones comprehensively:
3.HTC U11 VS LG G6: Camera
There is no denying that virtually every high-end phones these days have top quality camera specs and both of these phones have not disappointed. In other words, with the HTC U11 you will get the same phase detection autofocus technology as the one in Samsung Galaxy S8 meaning that your targets are focused very swiftly. Low light shots are also very good in this camera not to mention that you can capture up to 4k resolution videos with the phone.
G6’s camera is equally awesome! In fact, it has a dual lens that is more versatile when compared to HTC’s camera. It offers a secondary wide lens that is very good in taking shots of busy scenes. It has a standard lens that also leverages phase detection Autofocus and f/1.8 aperture which is also good in bad light shots. Just like the HTC, this camera can also record high-quality 4k videos.
4.HTC U11 VS LG G6: Battery Performance
Battery performance is always at the heart of any debate involving top phones in the market with many phones still not able to deliver long battery life cycles. The beauty with LG G6 is that it delivers 24 hours and even more of power (3300mAh). HTC U11, on the other hand, comes with slightly lower ratings in battery performance i.e 3000mAh but it’s still capable of delivering 24-hour power.
he two phones also use Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology to speed charge your phone. So, you will not have to wait for long to get your battery up when it is totally drained.

Perhaps the most interesting bit of this UI is the Companion AI which delivers intelligent action and assistance when needed. This is just tip of the iceberg, as there are many other great features inculcated into the Android OS.
