Stabilization for Mac
This guide will show you how to apply stabilization to your video on Mac. It allows you to smooth out shaky footage.
A Detailed Step Guide
Here are detailed steps to apply stabilization when editing a video.
Step 1: Import the video
Launch the application first. Then, click Import Media or drag the clip to the library. You can also directly drag the video to the timeline.
Step 2: Activate the stabilization feature
Click the video in the timeline, and then the property panel will appear on the left side of the interface. Click Video>AI Tools. After that, click the button beside Stabilization to activate the feature. Filmora will start analyzing automatically.
Step 3: Change the settings
After analysis, you can drag the slider or insert a numerical value in the box beside the slider to adjust the Smooth Level.
Edge Processing is used to change the edges of your stabilized video. You can set the edge processing to Extend, Reflect, or Tile.
You can preview the result until satisfying. When you are not satisfied with the changes, click Reset and then all the values will revert to the default.
