Also, you may need to spend time getting to know how to edit before you edit your recording causing unnecessary changes.
To have the stability for the duration of your webinar, Screenflow has a great one even for longer time lengths. This interface is very user friendly. While some may take a large portion of the system resources, this particular one does not. As for editing after, the offered features are extremely handy. However, the downside to the Screenflow software is not just the price but it is only offered to Mac users. Which if you are an apple user, this should not be an issue. But it still leaves Window users out in the cold.
The OBS software is available for just about all different users. Being free gives it a great chance to be in the running. Having a powerful screen recording feature, you are sure to record just about anything including webinars. Of course, as the others, there are cons to utilizing this software. Be prepared to take the time to learn how to use the software before you begin recording. This is not for beginners to take charge of. Also, if you are not satisfied with your webinar and want to edit it, you are out of luck here. They do not have an editing feature.
Before you start your webinar, make sure to go over all your needs to ensure the best outcome of your recordings. Make sure to stop every 20 to 30 minutes to save your recorded file. This will help break down the need to store a massive file at the end. Do not choose a software just because it is free, it may not be able to cater to your needs. There are reasons they are offered free, some may have limited recordings were only 10 minutes is the max. Not to mention output when the files are too large can lowers the system performance. You need all the tools to work correctly to complete your webinar the way it is meant to be presented. Being your time is valuable, so is your webinar. So make sure to use the best for your needs and you will get the outcome you deserve.
