Your Favorite Vine Stars are on YouTube
Nov 17, 2020• Proven solutions
Vine was a popular video-sharing app that allowed users to share six-second-long, looping videos on social media. However, Vine died in 2016.
We had plenty of warning, but it still stung a bit. When Vine was first launched some people thought 6 seconds wasn’t long enough to create anything worthwhile, but they were proved very wrong. Creators were forced to boil their ideas down to just that perfect, hilarious, moment. It wasn’t doable for everyone, but those who figured it out thrived.
If you have a favorite Vine star, you don’t have to say ‘goodbye’. Many of the top Viners have become YouTubers and are now doing sketch comedy, music, vlogs, and even web series.
Here are some memorable Vine stars that are active on YouTube:
Logan Paul
Logan has 9.5 million followers on Vine, and now he also has two successful YouTube channels – one for sketches and other comedic videos, and another for daily vlogs. He has a very ‘bro-ish’ sense of humor.
Logan has a new movie out right now on YouTube Red called The Thinning.
Rudy Mancuso
Rudy used to make funny vines for his 10.6 million followers, and now he’s moved on to doing sketch comedy on YouTube.
The thing that makes Rudy’s sketches special is his use of music. He packs a lot of original, funny, songs into his videos. They usually get around 3 million views.
Lele Pons
Lele has 11.5 million followers on Vine where she used to do a lot of prank videos.
Now, Lele’s specialty is sketch comedy. She works with other comedians to put out new sketches every week on her YouTube channel. Some of her sketches are based on pop culture while others are completely original concepts.
Her YouTube gets anywhere from 2 million to 10 million views.
Nash Grier
Nash Grier has 12.8 million followers on Vine, where he made mostly comedic videos.
On YouTube, Nash has started posting series with multiple episodes. Although these videos may include comedic elements, they also have drama and plotlines.
KingBach / Bach Vlogs
Andrew B. Bachelor is the most followed person on Vine with 16.2 million followers. His videos there were comedic snippets of his character, King Bach (an over-the-top version of himself), as well as several other recurring characters he created.
You can still catch Andrew/Bach on his vlog channel, Bach Vlogs, where he posts funny videos and life updates. Or, you can check out his BachelorsPadTv channel for his sketch comedy web series.
