Filmora needs to pay a lot of research and development costs to provide AI capabilities. This includes high algorithmic model costs. Each time a user uses Filmora's advanced AI features, interface and server consumption is generated, so each time a user uses AI features, they need to use credits.

An upgrade is a less frequent, more drastic change to Filmora you are currently using, like Filmora 13 to Filmora 14. On the other hand, a Filmora update can be more frequent, fix little bugs or make minor tweaks, and is often used to repair the product. Perpetual plans include all updates to the current major version but don’t include upgrades to future major versions, whereas subscription plans include all updates and upgrades during the subscription period.

With a subscription license, instead of making a one-time purchase, you pay a monthly or yearly fee to use Filmora. It is an ongoing subscription during the period. The cost of maintenance, upgrades (like Filmora 14 release), and renewals is included in the subscription -no extra fees added.

The unlimited AI features rights have become normal AI features rights. For users with an normal AI features rights, you can use AI features without restrictions in normal mode. And you can receive a certain amount of high-speed mode credits each month. In high-speed mode, your AI tasks will be processed with the faster speed and given priority. If you have the normal AI features rights, once the high-speed mode credits are exhausted, it will switch to normal mode, where tasks will be processed sequentially according to the number of AI feature requests.

If you have the enough AI credits, your AI task will be processed through high-speed channel, it is faster than nomal AI features. If you have the normal AI features rights, when your AI tasks are processed in normal channel, it will not consume your AI credits, but the processing speed will be slower than the high-speed channel.
