This is considerably more than any other console on the market and this doesn't even cover the computer hardware that's required to really get the most out of the VR system. To properly power oculus rift, a powerful graphics card with at least an Nvidia GTX 970 with 8 GB of RAM and an i54590 processor are needed for it to work on minimal settings. In many cases you may have to build a powerful gaming computer to really immerse yourself in the experience.
