Creating a fun effect which can help you add invisible hands while getting ready seems pretty cool. Creating this effect is simple.

00:28

First you need to shot a few videos and then import those files into Filmora 11 timeline to proceed.

01:02

In this effect you suppose that some floating items are helping you get ready. So to create his floating effect, you need a mirror. Shot a video by standing and pretending to get ready where you pretend to hold an item in your hand. Bring in that item and then place it on wherever it needs to go. Try to choose items that have a sharp end and are not round or any other shape which not easy to take out.

01:30

Once you have right items, film the right shots and go into Fillmore 11 and see how it puts it all together.

01:39

Place your empty shot on the bottom track and your acting short on the top. Before getting started into masking out the tools, mask out the side of the mirror. Turn your empty a shot into a freeze-frame by going to speed and selecting freeze frame.

01:56

Go ahead and mask out the sides of the mirror. Go to mask and put double line mask right on top. So once you turn off the bottom track, you should only have a reflection. Do this for the other half and then you can go ahead and export this video. Be sure to feather out the sides before moving forward.

02:47

Now export the video and then bring it into a new project. Import your base video to get rid of the top part and replace it with new video that you just exported. You should keep the empty shot because you still need to do some masking.

03:06

To see when the first tool shows up in your video, use your left and right arrow keys to find out exactly where the stick starts to show up and then make a cut. In the first half where you have a brush, you need to mask out a stick in the frame. Use the rectangular mask on the first video. Scroll down and invert the mask.

03:37

Resize it and make it perfect for the stick. Place the mask right at the start of the stick and then increase the blur strength.

03:49

Resize the key frame and reshape the mask so zoom into the video in order to see how much you need to work with your mask. Go to zoom level and increase it by 50 % then use the box to move into the spot. Go in by 75 to clearly see the changes in mask. Add a key frame, then move to the next frame where you need to bring your mask. Rotate the mask through arrows.

04:50

Zoom out and then just cut the rest of your video. Move your arrow keys to move it into place so you can have floating tools just flying around and helping you prepare for a day.

05:18

Export this video once again and then bring it back into the project. Bring in the mask video and to get rid of top track instead of bringing in the video that you just exported.

05:36

Bring in the base video and double click, go to mask and use the double line mask once again to mask out the reflection. Increase the bur strength and then, invert the mask. Make a cut in the first frame. And hit OK.

06:14

Select your empty shot, press control C and then hit control V. Bring the empty shot right above your tracks and because it's a freeze-frame you don't need to worry about the way it looks. Go to mask and use a rectangle. Increase blur strength and animate the position to avoid shadow. Add key frames to add movement of the tools and do the same with the second frame.

07:34

Export the video one last time to add some color grading and finish it off with some additional key frames. Clear the timeline and bring in your final video. Add the hand-held effect and go to animation to create random key frames for scaling, changing the position or rotating.

08:38

Add a simple LUT to tie the whole video together to finish with adding the effect.
