4. How to Enter

To enter the Challenge, participants must follow the steps below:

Step 1 — Get Your Music

Participants who wish to be considered for the Grand Prize, Best Short Cut Award, Best Full Story Award, Creative Choice Award, or Emerging Creator Award must use designated Universal Music for Creators music authorized for this Challenge in their final published entry.

Eligible users may purchase Filmora through the designated offer page to receive one 7-day free trial of Universal Music for Creators per eligible ID. Existing Filmora users may use designated tracks with an active Universal Music for Creators membership or valid trial. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled before the end of the trial; cancel anytime. The applicable offer and licensing terms apply.

Use of designated Universal Music for Creators music is not required to enter the Challenge, but entries without it are eligible only for the Open Story Award, subject to all other requirements.

Step 2 — Post

Create an original SHORT CUT or FULL STORY inspired by #CutThroughTime — One Dream. Three Decades. Filmora must be used for the primary editing and final production of the entry.

Your post must:

  • Include #Filmora and #CutThroughTime. Entries using designated Universal Music for Creators music must also include #UniversalMusicforCreators.
  • Tag Filmora's official account as specified on the Challenge page, where applicable.
  • Remain publicly accessible throughout the Submission and Judging Periods.

For example, on YouTube, participants may be required to tag @Wondershare Filmora Video Editor.

Step 3 — Register & Submit

After publishing your video, complete the official Google Form linked from the Filmora Challenge page to submit your entry.

The submission form requires the participant's Wondershare ID (WSID), contact email, country or region, social media platform, direct URL to the publicly published entry, social media profile URL, selected entry category (SHORT CUT or FULL STORY), and the required acknowledgments relating to these Official Rules, content permissions, and privacy. An entry title or description is not required.

The Google Form is used solely to collect and administer Challenge entries. It does not provide or initiate music rights authorization. Participants remain responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary rights to music and other third-party content under the applicable licensing terms.

Posting a video alone does not constitute an official entry. A separate Google Form submission is required for each entry.

5. Entry Limits & Prize Limit

Participants may submit multiple eligible entries during the Submission Period.

Each entry must be submitted separately through the official Challenge page.

Each participant may win no more than one prize in the Challenge.

If multiple entries from the same participant are selected for different prizes, the Sponsor will determine the prize awarded based on the final judging results.

The remaining prize may be awarded to the next highest-ranked eligible entry.

6. Universal Music for Creators Content & Prize Eligibility

Designated Music Required for Main Prizes

To be eligible for the Make 2036 Real Grand Prize, Best Short Cut Award, Best Full Story Award, Creative Choice Award, or Emerging Creator Award, the final publicly posted entry must actually include designated Universal Music for Creators music authorized for use in the Challenge, and the participant must comply with the applicable music licensing terms. Simply downloading, saving, or importing the music into a Filmora project does not satisfy this requirement unless the music is present in the final published entry.

The Make 2036 Real Grand Prize additionally requires at least 100,000 cumulative qualifying public views, subject to the verification and other eligibility rules in Section 8.

Entries Without Designated Universal Music for Creators Music

Participants may enter the Challenge without using designated Universal Music for Creators music. However, an entry that does not include such music is eligible ONLY for the Open Story Award and is NOT eligible for the Make 2036 Real Grand Prize, Best Short Cut Award, Best Full Story Award, Creative Choice Award, Emerging Creator Award, or any other music-required prize.

Open Story Award

The Open Story Award is open to otherwise eligible entries whether or not they include designated Universal Music for Creators music. All entries remain subject to the applicable format, rights, originality, judging, and verification requirements.

Prize eligibility is assessed for each separately submitted entry, rather than based on whether a participant used designated music in another video. Each participant may win no more than one prize as stated in Section 5.

7-Day Free Trial

Eligible users who purchase Filmora through the designated offer page may receive one 7-day free trial of Universal Music for Creators per eligible ID.

Cancel anytime. Unless canceled before the end of the trial, the subscription will automatically renew at the price displayed during checkout.

This offer is available only with an eligible Filmora purchase made through the designated offer page. Eligibility, available content, renewal pricing and other applicable terms are subject to the information displayed at checkout.

Use of Official Assets and Music Rights

Universal Music for Creators content and other official Challenge assets may only be accessed and used within the scope expressly authorized for this Challenge. Use of Universal Music for Creators content requires an active Universal Music for Creators membership or a valid free trial, as applicable under its licensing terms.

Participants must obtain and maintain all rights and permissions required to include such content in their publicly published entries. Submitting a video link or social media account information through the Challenge Google Form is solely for entry administration and does not grant any additional rights or permissions.

Participants may not:

  • Sell or redistribute the assets;
  • Sublicense the assets;
  • Separately commercialize the assets;
  • Use the assets in unauthorized commercial projects;
  • Use the assets for AI model training; or
  • Use the assets for dataset creation.

Permitted platforms, territories, usage periods and other applicable restrictions will be governed by the terms published on the Challenge page and the rights granted by the relevant rights holders.

7. Entry Requirements

Each entry must:

  • Be relevant to the #CutThroughTime — One Dream. Three Decades. theme
  • Use Filmora for the primary editing and final production of the video
  • Meet the format requirements of the selected category
  • Be the participant’s original work, except for content the participant is authorized to use
  • Include only music, footage, images, likenesses, voices, performances, fonts, trademarks, and other third-party content for which the participant has all necessary rights and permissions
  • Comply with the applicable terms of any AI tools or services used in creating the entry
  • Not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party
  • Not contain unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, excessively violent, discriminatory, or otherwise prohibited content under applicable law or the rules of the platform where the entry is posted

The Sponsor may ask a potential winner to provide reasonable evidence of the creation process, including:

  • A Filmora project file
  • Timeline screenshots
  • Work-in-progress screenshots
  • Screen recordings

These materials may be used to verify compliance with these Official Rules.

Failure to provide reasonably requested verification may result in disqualification from the applicable prize.

8. Grand Prize Reach Requirement

To be eligible for final consideration for the Make 2036 Real Grand Prize, an entry must meet all other eligibility requirements, including the designated Universal Music for Creators music requirement, and must also reach:

At least 100,000 cumulative public views across eligible social platforms.

Cross-Platform Views

The same entry may be posted on multiple eligible social platforms.

Public views of the same entry across designated platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, may be combined toward the 100,000-view requirement.

Example

YouTube: 60,000 viewsTikTok: 30,000 viewsInstagram: 20,000 views

Total qualifying views: 110,000

In this example, the entry meets the Grand Prize reach requirement.

Participants must submit all social media links they wish to have included in the view count through the official Challenge page.

Only views from the same submitted entry posted on eligible platforms will count.

Views from unrelated videos, other entries, or social posts that were not submitted for verification will not count.

View counts will be determined as of November 10, 2026, at 11: 59 PM PST (UTC−8).

Meeting the 100,000-view requirement makes an entry eligible for Grand Prize consideration only. It does not guarantee that the entry will win the Grand Prize.

Authenticity of Views

The purchase of views or use of bots, automated systems, traffic manipulation services, or other methods designed to artificially inflate engagement is prohibited.

The Sponsor reserves the right to verify public metrics and request reasonable supporting analytics from participants.

Views that cannot reasonably be verified, appear abnormal, or are determined to result from artificial or manipulated activity may be excluded.

Serious violations may result in disqualification.

9. Judging & Winner Selection

All eligible entries will be evaluated according to the judging criteria and weighting for their applicable category.

Social media views and engagement are not included in the SHORT CUT or FULL STORY judging score.

The 100,000 cumulative-view requirement applies only as an eligibility requirement for consideration for the Make 2036 Real Grand Prize.

Winners will be selected by a judging panel designated by the Sponsor based on the weighted judging criteria set out in Section 3.

In the event of a tie, the entry with the higher score in the highest-weighted judging criterion for the applicable category will rank higher.

If a tie remains, the judging panel will make the final determination based on the overall creativity and execution of the entries.

The likelihood of winning depends on the number, quality, and relative merit of eligible entries.

Winners are determined by skill, not chance.

10. Prizes

To help outstanding creators reach a wider audience, the Challenge will also offer additional paid social media promotion opportunities.

Each eligible creator may receive up to US$1,000 in paid social media promotion for one qualifying entry.

The following terms apply:

1. Selection Criteria: Promotion support will be awarded at the Sponsor's discretion, based on factors including content quality, relevance, promotional potential, and applicable platform policies.

2. Promotion Limit: Each creator may receive promotion support for no more than one entry, with a maximum paid media budget of US$1,000 for that entry.

3. Promotion Management: All paid promotion will be managed and executed by the Sponsor or its designated partners. The Sponsor will determine the applicable platforms, timing, budget allocation, and promotional methods.

4. No Cash Value: Promotion support is an additional marketing benefit, not a cash prize. It is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash or exchanged for other prizes.

5. No Guaranteed Results: Receipt of promotion support does not guarantee any specific number of views, impressions, engagements, or other performance results, nor does it guarantee that an entry will win a prize.

6. Sponsor Discretion: The Sponsor reserves the right to determine whether promotion support will be provided, taking into account the nature of the entry, applicable platform policies, and actual promotional conditions.

10.8 Prize Fulfillment and General Conditions

Final prize brands, models, configurations, and packages will be as specified on the official Challenge page.

If an advertised prize becomes unavailable due to supply constraints, regional restrictions, or other reasonable circumstances, the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash, except where required by law.

Winners are responsible for any personal income taxes, import duties, customs fees, or other applicable taxes and charges arising from the acceptance or receipt of a prize, as required by applicable law.

11. Winner Notification & Verification

Potential winners must complete the Sponsor’s verification process before being confirmed as official winners.

The Sponsor may require a potential winner to provide:

  • Proof of identity and age
  • Contact and shipping information
  • Filmora project files or other evidence of the creation process
  • Evidence of the use of designated Universal Music for Creators content
  • Social media analytics or other evidence supporting Grand Prize view counts
  • Evidence of originality and any necessary third-party permissions
  • Tax or compliance information required to deliver the prize
  • Other information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the stated period, cannot complete the required verification, declines the prize, or is found to have violated these Official Rules, the potential winner may be disqualified.

The Sponsor may then select the next highest-ranked eligible entry based on the applicable judging results.

Notification as a potential winner does not mean that a participant has officially won a prize. A participant becomes an official winner only after completing the required verification and receiving final confirmation from the Sponsor.

12. Ownership & Permission to Use Entries

Participants retain ownership of the original content they create.

By submitting an entry, each participant grants Wondershare, Wondershare Filmora, and the Challenge’s participating partners a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the entry in connection with the Challenge and related brand promotion.

This includes the right to:

  • Display or repost the entry
  • Feature the entry on official websites, Challenge pages, and social media channels
  • Include the entry in Challenge highlights, winner compilations, reactions, Global Cut videos, and Challenge recaps
  • Make reasonable edits necessary for promotional presentation, including cropping, resizing, reformatting, subtitling, translating, and excerpting the entry
  • Display the entry in online and offline promotional materials related to the Challenge

This license does not transfer ownership of the participant’s original work.

Universal Music for Creators content, artist materials, and other third-party assets remain the property of their respective rights holders and are subject to the applicable licenses and usage restrictions.

If the Sponsor wishes to use an entry for a separate commercial purpose beyond the Challenge and related brand promotion, any additional permissions required for that use will be obtained separately.

13. Disqualification

The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify an entry or participant for conduct including, but not limited to:

  • Plagiarism, misappropriation, or unauthorized use of third-party content
  • Submitting work that was not created by the participant
  • Providing false identity, account, location, entry, or eligibility information
  • Misrepresenting the use of Filmora or designated Universal Music for Creators content
  • Purchasing or manipulating views, likes, comments, or other engagement metrics
  • Deleting, making private, or otherwise making an entry inaccessible during the applicable review period
  • Failing to complete the official Filmora Challenge submission process
  • Violating the applicable rules of a designated social media platform
  • Misusing or distributing official Challenge assets outside the permitted scope
  • Violating these Official Rules or applicable law

If a violation is discovered after a prize has been awarded, the Sponsor may revoke the prize and require its return to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Privacy, Third-Party Platforms & General Terms

Personal information submitted in connection with the Challenge will be used to:

  • Administer the Challenge
  • Verify eligibility
  • Conduct judging
  • Contact potential winners
  • Fulfill prizes
  • Meet applicable legal and compliance requirements

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Wondershare Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

The Challenge may be promoted or hosted in part through third-party platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Challenge is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with these platforms.

Participants remain responsible for complying with the terms, policies, and licensing requirements applicable to Filmora, the social platforms they use, and any third-party content included in their entries.

If technical failures, changes in platform policies, changes in content licensing, legal or regulatory requirements, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control materially affect the operation of the Challenge, the Sponsor may modify, suspend, or terminate the Challenge to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Any material updates will be communicated through the Challenge page.

If there is any conflict between a summary of the Challenge and these Official Rules, these Official Rules will control.
