Where to find Axolotls Minecraft

According to the new update, you can find these amazing creatures in newly added Lush Caves. But these caves will be made accessible for the players by the end of this year. But don't worry, there is no need to wait for such a time period to access these amazing creatures. You can easily find Axolotls Minecraft in underwater places. But some conditions are necessary for Axolotls. They can be found in areas that are completely dark and below sea level (y63). If you follow these conditions, you can easily find Axolotls without any difficulty.

How to tame Axolotl Minecraft

The fact that the Axolotls are passive towards the players makes it easy for you to tame an Axolotl. Once you have found an Axolotl, you can catch it using a bucket and carry it easily to another place you want. But if you don't have a bucket, you attach it to one of your leads and carry it easily, But make sure not to place them out of water for more than five minutes, if you do so, it will die. There are few exceptions like rain and thunderstorms. If it is the case, you can easily carry it for more than 5 minutes without causing its death.

Breed Axolotls Minecraft

One of the best things about Axolotls is their ability to breed and increase their number. If you have two adult axolotls together, feed each of them with tropical fish. After some time, you will see the hearts popping out. Romantic, isn't it? The color of newborn Axolotls will be the color of one of its parents. It takes around in-game 20 minutes for Axolotls to be mature. But you can always speed up the process by feeding them with tropical fish.

Types of Axolotls Minecraft

There are five types of Axolotls that you can find in Minecraft.

4. Wild (Brown)
5. Blue

The rarest of all Axolotls is Blue. It has around 0.083% chances of being spawned, both naturally and by breeding adult Axolotls. If you want to have Blue Axolotls, you have to be more than patient and lucky to find it. 

What do Axolotls eat?

Axolotls don't want something unique to eat, their feed can easily be found in every lake or watery place. You can feed the Axolotls with Tropical Fish that can be collected using buckets. Catching Tropical Fish is not an easy task. Tropical fish can be scared so easily, which makes it hard for the players to capture them. It will require a lot of patience and skill to capture these creatures.

Can Axolotls Minecraft fight?

Although these creatures are very friendly with players, they can attack and fight underwater creatures except dolphins and turtles. In case they get damaged during a fight underwater, they play dead and try to regenerate their health. If a player helps an Axolotls kill the mob it is fighting with, the regeneration effect will be transferred to that player temporarily.
