Record from Webcam

To the right of the Screen Recorder Settings Panel, you will find a Camera icon, which you can use to initiate a face recording of yourself and the screen. Tap the Camera to turn it on and see your live image appear in a frame on your device screen.

Drag the same to set it at a suitable position and press the red Record button to let the recording process begin. The recording will be saved to your Filmora workspace, and you can edit the same in the software timeline.

Basic Record Process

To use your webcam for live recordings from the project workspace itself, navigate to the My Media tab and click on the Record option above the displayed media files, selecting the Record from Webcam option from the dropdown.

Select your video and audio devices, which are affordably the devices webcam and the microphone (or an external audio device), along with adjusting the output resolution and frame rate.

When the settings make you happy, tap the Record button to start recording. You can add the recording to your project timeline and include the same in your graphic edits.

Ensure that the action goes on by navigating to the toolbar at the top of the project window and observing the Recorder symbol to be ticked when recording—press Ctrl + H on your device's keyboard to end the recording process.
