Delete Video
Let’s face it. All video editors make mistakes. That’s why video deletion is a part of every editing project and is often used for eliminating unnecessary content, removing editing mistakes, or cleaning up your editing area. In Filmora for Mobile, videos can be quickly deleted through the Timeline within the editing app’s Work Area. You can also delete them by removing the entire project through the Project Management panel. Let’s learn how.

1. Tap on the clip in the Work Area to select it.

2. Press the tiny Delete button below the Timeline and above the Toolbar.

Delete a Video in the Project Management Panel
Besides removing clips from the Timeline in Filmora’s Work Area, you can delete an entire project from the Project Management panel on the startup screen by following these steps:
1. Access the entire Project Management panel by swiping up from it on Filmora’s homepage.

2. Click the Three Dot button on the right side of a project you want to delete.

3. Tap the Delete option at the bottom to remove the entire project from the mobile editing app.

4. Confirm your choice by clicking Delete again in the popup menu.

Note: If you’re unsure about removing the video, you can always use the Upload & Delete option to save the project in the Filmora Cloud before deleting it from the Project Management panel.
