Add Freeze for Android and iPhone
Whether you want to add a dramatic pause effect or emphasize a crucial moment in your video, Filmora for Mobile's freeze-frame effect is the perfect solution. At its core, a freeze-frame effect during editing splits the video and freezes your chosen frame, inserting it as a few-second-lasting image. So, let's learn how to add and adjust a freeze frame.

Apply a Freeze Effect to Your Clip
Like all video editing tools, Filmora's freeze-frame feature sits in the app's Work Area, so you'll have to import media files or open an existing project to get to it. Once inside the Work Area, you can follow these simple steps to apply a freeze effect:
1. Scroll the clip in the Timeline and place the Playhead to where you want to add a freeze.

2. Click the Trim button at the bottom, find the Freeze option in the changed Toolbar, and click on it.

Adjust the Freeze Frame's Aspects
When you tap the Freeze button in the Toolbar, Filmora will create a freeze frame with a default duration of three seconds. However, you can also adjust various aspects of the frozen frame, and here are a few examples:
1. Tap Rotate in the now-changed Toolbar to mirror, flip, or rotate the frozen frame.

2. Hit the Opacity button to adjust the frozen frame's transparency.

3. Press the Duration option to adjust how long the freeze-frame effect lasts.

You can also change this by holding the Mark-in and Mark-out buttons in the Timeline and moving them left or right to adjust the frozen frame's duration.

Note: You can apply numerous other video effects to the freeze-frame effect you just created, and you can explore these options in the Toolbar at the bottom. They include animations, masks, mosaic effects, color adjustments, video filters, cropping, and more.
Conclusion
Adding a freeze frame in Filmora for Mobile is intuitive and a perfect way to highlight vital video moments. Try it today, and you'll be surprised by how effortless it is to show tiny details in your footage or focus on a smile or reaction you've captured during filming.
