Freeze Frame on Mac
Freeze Frame is a useful editing feature in Filmora for Mac that allows users to pause a specific moment in a video and turn it into a still image for a set duration. It is commonly used to highlight key moments, emphasize actions, or add dramatic effects to storytelling. This tool gives editors better control over pacing and visual impact, making videos more engaging and creative.

Steps to Use Freeze Frame
Filmora makes it simple to apply and customize freeze frames directly from the timeline with just a few clicks. Follow the steps mentioned below to learn how to use this feature:
Step 1. Create a New Project and Import Video
Launch Filmora on your Mac and click on New Project from the startup screen. Import your video file into the media library and drag it onto the timeline to begin editing.

Step 2. Select Frame and Apply Freeze Frame
Zoom into the timeline for better precision and move the playhead to the exact frame you want to freeze. Then click the Speed icon and choose Add Freeze Frame from the dropdown menu, or simply right-click the clip and select Add Freeze Frame from the context menu to instantly create a still frame.

Step 3. Customize Freeze Frame Duration
Click on the freeze frame segment in the timeline and select Duration from the expanded list.

Step 4. Set Duration for Frame
In the following small window, adjust the duration of the freeze according to your preferences and press Save. Once done, hit the Export button to save the results.
