Lens Correction in Filmora for Mac
Footage captured from action cameras and wide-angle lenses often comes with unwanted distortion, especially around the edges of the frame. Filmora for Mac includes a Lens Correction feature that intelligently fixes this issue by reducing fisheye and barrel distortion. It helps restore a more natural perspective, making videos look cleaner, straighter, and more professional.
Steps to Enable Lens Correction in Filmora for Mac
Filmora provides easy controls to adjust and fine-tune lens distortion directly from the editing panel. Follow the steps below to learn how to correct lens distortion in your videos:
Step 1. Create a New Project and Import Video
Open Wondershare Filmora on your Mac and select New Project from the home screen. Import your video file into the media library and drag it onto the timeline to begin editing.

Step 2. Activate Lens Correction Settings
Select the video clip and open the properties panel on the right side. Locate the Lens Correction option and enable it. Choose your camera or device model from the dropdown menu, then select the appropriate resolution and adjust the correction strength using the slider.

Step 3. Reset or Export Final Video
If you want to remove the applied correction, use the undo/reset option in the same panel. Once the adjustment looks right, click Export to save the corrected video to your Mac.
