Audio Visualizer for Mac

Filmora's Audio Visualizer feature for Mac transforms audio tracks into videos with animated graphics that respond to sound. It allows you to display moving waveforms, visual patterns, and other audio-reactive effects alongside music or spoken content. This feature is useful for creating podcast visuals, music videos, and audio-based content for social media platforms.

How to Use Audio Visualizer

Step 1. Create a New Project

Launch Filmora on your Mac and select Create Project from the home screen. Click Import to add your audio file, then drag it onto the timeline to begin editing.

Step 2. Select an Audio Visualizer Effect

Navigate to the Effects tab in the top toolbar and expand Audio Effects from the left sidebar. Open Audio Visualizer to explore the available visual effects. Choose a suitable visualizer and drag it onto a video track above your audio clip. Adjust its duration to match the section you want to visualize.

Step 3. Customize the Audio Visualizer Settings

Select the visualizer clip on the timeline to access its settings in the right panel. Under Basic, adjust available options such as Song Title, Artist Name, Font, Size, and Color. You can also customize the Background using Blur, Size, Position X, and Position Y controls. Switch to the Mask tab to restrict the visualizer to a selected area, then preview your changes.

Step 4. Remove the Audio Visualizer Effect

To remove a visualizer, select its effect clip on the timeline and right-click to open the context menu. Choose Delete or press the Delete key on your Mac keyboard. This removes the selected effect clip while keeping the original audio track.
