Import Media from Third-Party Drives on Mac
The new version 11.6 Filmora allows users to import video files from third-party drives, including Goole Drive, One Drive and Dropbox. Follow the steps below to import media from external drives.
Run Filmora and click “New Projects” from the main interface. Go to the upper left corner, click “Import” icon and you’ll see a list of options.
Choose “Import from other Apps” and then you’ll see 3 different drives. Take Google Drive for example, click it and you’ll see a “Authorization Refreshing” window, the browser will also open at the same time.
Enter your google account and password to access Google Drive. Once you logged in, you’ll see a notice page like below.
Go back to Filmora and a new window should appear by now. You can select the video files form your Google Drive and download it to start editing.
