Import Media from Third-Party Drives on Mac
Wondershare Filmora for Mac supports file importing under various scenarios. One effective option it provides includes importing files from third-party cloud drives.
1. Open the Editing Panel
To initiate the process, look for the “New Project" button on the main window, which leads you to the editing window.
2. Import From Other Apps
Proceed to the “File” tab to access the “Import Media" option in the drop-down menu. This leads to the "Import from other Apps" option in the proceeding menu, where you are provided three options, such as cloud drives. Filmora allows you to import media from Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox.
3. Authorization Refreshing
Step 1: Proceed to Authorize
The next screen prompts you to authorize access to Google Drive. For that, click the “Sign in with Google” button to lead next.
Step 2: Login With Account to Access Data
Following this, you will be asked to add your account credentials, if required. Log into your account to access the media files that can be added to Filmora. You can download files from your connect drive cloud and add them into Filmora for further editing.
