Text Animation on Windows
The Text Animation feature in Wondershare Filmora allows users to transform simple text into engaging visual elements using over 80 built-in animation presets. It helps enhance titles, captions, and on-screen messages with dynamic motion effects that improve storytelling and audience engagement. Users can easily apply animations by dragging them onto the timeline, customizing styles, and previewing results in real time.
Steps to Use Text Animation in Filmora
This feature is ideal for creating professional-looking videos without advanced design skills. To learn how to perform basic text animation, read the steps below:
Step 1. Launch Project and Load Video
Start Filmora and create a new project from the home page using the New Project tab. Then import video and drop it onto the timeline to proceed.

Step 2. Add Text for Animation
Access the Titles option from the menubar and select a template from the options provided. Drag it to the timeline to apply it and change the text from the properties panel on the right under the Text section.

Step 3. Choose Animation Style
Now, enable the Animation section under the properties panel and choose the animation style from In, Out, or Loop. The preview window will show how the effect looks in real time. Once satisfied with the preview, click Apply to All to apply the selected animation to your title or text.
