Detach Audio for Windows
The Detach Audio feature in Wondershare Filmora allows users to separate audio from video clips for independent editing. This makes it easy to adjust volume, remove noise, or replace sound without affecting the visuals. It is useful for voiceovers, music replacement, and precise audio customization in video projects.

Step 1. Create a Project Workspace
Run Filmora on your device and click New Project to begin. Add your media file and place it onto the editing timeline.

Step 2. Apply Audio Detach
After the video is available in the editing timeline, right-click on it to enable a list of options. Next, choose the Detach Audio feature from the list and click on it to separate the file.

Step 3. Review and Fine-Tune Detached Audio
Once the audio is successfully separated, preview it by playing it in the preview window. You can further apply enhancement and modification using the Audio panel on the right. Click the Export button to save the final file once you are satisfied.
