Motion Tracking on Windows
Motion Tracking in Filmora allows users to attach text, images, or effects to moving objects in a video. The feature automatically follows the selected subject frame by frame, ensuring smooth synchronization. It is ideal for highlighting elements, adding dynamic captions, or tracking objects in action scenes. This tool enhances creativity, improves storytelling, and makes videos more engaging and professional-looking with minimal manual effort.
Steps to Use Motion Tracking on Filmora
As discussed, Filmora lets you track the movement of a moving subject in a video. To learn how to use this feature, read the steps provided below:
Step 1. Create New Filmora Project
To begin the process, launch Filmora on your device and press the New Project option from the homepage. Now, import your video and drag it to the editing timeline.
Step 2. Enable Motion Tracking
Once the video is successfully added, head to the properties panel on the right and enable the Basic section. Locate the Motion Tracking feature and turn its toggle on. Press the Click to Start Motion Tracking option and let the tool detect the subject in motion.
Step 3. Link Element to Subject
Once the motion is detected, expand the Link drop-down menu within the properties panel and select the element to be linked. Now, play the video in the preview window and preview the results. When you are satisfied with the results, click the Export button to save the results.
